You are 44% more likely to take action if you plan! Let’s make a plan!

I think there are usually two things that put people off blogging.

1. They don’t know where to start
2. It takes a long time to write

Both of these things are a myth! You know exactly what to write about, in fact you’re the best person to write your blogs! No one knows more about your business than YOU. You set your business goals, aims and values. And along with your services / products THIS IS what you are supposed to be blogging about!

It can’t be that simple, won’t I just bore people to death?

It is that simple! Do you worry about boring people to death face to face when you talk about your business? Or does your passion for what you do shine through?

Maybe you do something that is typically thought of as dull? But the information you have is valuable. Not all blogs have to be classically “entertaining”, you can give information, help, tips. Or even “how to guides” are excellent blogs.

No one is going to read it so why bother?

Typically, your blogs won’t be read my many real people in the beginning. However, Google will read it!

Although, just like when you start your social media groups or pages it takes a while. Google will notice that you are putting out regular content and just like with your social media there will be a snowballing effect. Unfortunately, it is different for every website and every industry so its not as simple as saying, you need 200 blogs. However, from my experience if you put out one blog a week for 6 -12 months you will start to see a massive increase in traffic to your website.

I don’t have time to write a blog a week for an entire year!

What don’t you have 2 hours a month? Honestly, that’s all it takes me and my clients to write our blog content for the whole year. How? We plan out what we are going to write.

FREE Blog Planning Mini Course

I go through all of the steps in my FREE blog planning mini course, which you can get by clicking this link:

Just fill in your name and email address. The course is delivered by email so don’t forget to check your spam / junk / promotions folder just in case!

How do I start planning?

Simply think of 12 things about your business. You now have your 12 topics for the year. You are going to write 4-5 blogs per month on these topics. The planner will break down how to get the most out of your topics each month so you can not only create your blog content. BUT your social media content as well!

Regular blogging will do much for your website

If you are really serious about your business and using the internet to actually get you clients / leads you need to blog. It doesn’t have to take lots of time or money to get your website to a point where it is working for your business. In fact it can just take 2 hours per month!

My Blogging Mission

My mission this year is to educate all website owners about the benefits of blogging. I want everyone to realize that your website is so much more than just an online presence. It can be your greatest sales tool!

Your website is a sales tool, use it!

You spent all that time and money on your website, wouldn’t it be nice if people saw it? I think most people don’t know what to do to promote their website online so just leave it to do it’s “shop front” thing. If you want to get your website seen, you need to let Google know you are the expert in your niche.

You do this by blogging!
